What is Record Store Day? - Conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees, Record Store Day was started as a way to celebrate the unique culture surrounding independently-owned record stores. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. Today, Record Store Day is celebrated at independently-owned brick-and-mortar record stores around the world.

When is Record Store Day? - Record store day will happen on Saturday, April 20th this year.

What titles are available for Record Store Day? - The full list of 2024’s RSD titles are available on the Record Store Day website HERE. We also have a printed version available to browse at our front counter.

When does it start? - Record Store Day starts when we open at 9 am on Saturday 4/20/23.

How will the event work? Will you be handing out numbered tokens like previous years? - We are not doing numbered tokens this year. We will admit customers starting at 9am in line order. Feel free to line up anytime on 4/20/24.  Items will be limited to one per customer until we have run through the entirety of the line. After that you may go back and shop RSD titles without restriction.

Will you be getting in the titles I want for RSD? - We will attempt to order every title that we think we can sell.

Can you hold or special order a specific title for me? - Record store day is meant to celebrate brick and mortar retail, so you have to be in person to purchase the titles. We do not hold anything due to the limited nature of the releases.

Can I buy RSD titles online? - We will post all remaining RSD inventory for sale on our website at 8AM the day after the event.
